Waste Water Treatment Plant
Waste water is all the water that has been used and may be contaminated. For example, water that has been used by a city or factory. Besides sewage, there is runoff from rainfall (water that flows down streets and into storm drains) which might also contain contaminants such as gasoline, oil, plants, metals, pesticides, human and animal waste. Before, the waste water reenters into a lake, river or ocean, the water is sent to a sewage treatment plant first for purifications.
